An ornate, matching, mid-Victorian, watch key and seal fob, modeled in three colors of 15k gold (yellow, rose, and green). These shapely, old friends are decorated with a series of beautifully-made, applied flowers, that rest atop finely stippled fields. The seal fob is set with an un-carved bloodstone gem, whose deep green surface is speckled with bright red flecks— a subtle shot of light crosses the oval stone, on the diagonal. The little watch key is seriously charming— it has an iron stem, and this rough blackmetal is striking, juxtaposed with the otherwise rich gold color palate. We love that these two small objects remain paired, after so many years, and we love their many wonderful contrasts!Hanging bails are oval and slightly oversized.
